SPIDER-MAN 2 star TOBEY MAGUIRE came 15th out of 281 participants at the MIRAGE POKER SHOWDOWN in Las Vegas last weekend (30JUL04).

Maguire beat a number of professional poker players at the no-limit $10,000 (GBP5,555) gambling event and won a staggering $16,201 (GBP9,000).

According to gossip site PAGESIX.COM, Maguire "crippled" notorious poker player PHIL HELLMUTH - when he made four of a kind against Hellmuth's full house.

WELCOME BACK KOTTER creator and actor GABE KAPLAN finished in third place in the main event and took home $256,519 (GBP142,510).
