DONNIE DARKO star MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL wants to be President of America - but only for a day.

The rising Hollywood star would like to take over from current incumbent GEORGE W. BUSH and alter America's foreign policy.

She says, "I wouldn't have to be careful if I was in charge for just one day. So I'd spend it changing our whole foreign policy. I'd go in there change everything around and make it so he couldn't change it back."
