MADONNA - MADONNA TO SWAP HOLLYWOOD FOR WALFORD?

Queen of Pop MADONNA is reportedly so obsessed with a British soap opera, she has begged her husband to get her a cameo.

According to British tabloid THE SUN, SNATCH director GUY RITCHIE has contacted bosses of EASTENDERS, which focuses on the lives of residents of an East London suburb, with a view to getting the LIKE A VIRGIN singer a walk-on part.

An insider says, "We know Madonna is a massive fan and Guy wants her to do a cameo.

"Her favourite (character) is DOT - she'd work very well with her in the launderette."

The singer is not alone in her adoration of the gritty TV show - BRAD PITT and JENNIFER ANISTON were recently unmasked as die-hard fans.
