MADONNA's is taking legal action over a range of lingerie, inspired by naked images of the superstar taken 26 years ago (79).

The singer, 47, is objecting to Nude 1979 - a range of bras and briefs created by ROSANNA ANSALONI, which is based on nude pictures taken by American photographer MARTIN SCHREIBER in 1979 when Madonna was an 21-year-old unknown dancer in New York.

Madonna was paid just $30 (GBP16) for the saucy snaps and signed away her rights to the images, a decision she later came to regret.

The underwear collection is set to be launched in Britain in November (05) by online lingerie store Figleaves.com.

Madonna's spokesperson LIZ ROSENBERG says, "This lingerie is misleading the public because Madonna is in no way affiliated with it.

"Her attorneys are starting to gather information now because a line of lingerie is implying that Madonna is associated with it, and that could not be further from the truth."
