Gay icon MADONNA was slow to realise her brother CHRISTOPHER was gay - even though he enjoyed a special "connection" with her openly homosexual ballet teacher.
The MUSIC singer has always enjoyed a close and loving relationship with her younger brother, and he has even choreographed some of her live shows and videos.
She tells Attitude magazine, "It wasn't something that I knew consciously, it was subtle. I just went hmmm.
"I saw a connection between my teacher and my brother. A few years later it all came rushing back to me that that was what it was."
