FARGO - MACY PLANS REVEALING ROLE ON DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

FARGO star WILLIAM H MACY is set for a revealing role in his wife's hit TV show DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - if either of them picks up a GOLDEN GLOBE on Sunday (16JAN05).

Both Macy and his wife FELICITY HUFFMAN are nominated and the actor has offered his wife a wager to make the awards show more interesting.

He explains, "We have a bet going - if I win I will appear on Desperate Housewives without pants on and if she wins I will appear on Desperate Housewives without my pants on!

"It's either a win-win or a lose-lose."

Macy admits he's a huge fan of the show, and he loves his wife as harassed mother-of-four LYNETTE SCAVO.

He adds, "She's got the best role. She has her saucy moments, I'm lucky to report. She's a great mom and I married well."
