MACY GRAY - MACY GETS SET FOR THE MOVIES

MACY GRAY is planning an acting onslaught in 2004 with a string of movie roles.

The singer will kick off the new year as soul queen CARLA THOMAS in American retro drama AMERICAN DREAMS and then she'll appear in JACKIE CHAN's remake of AROUND THE WORLD IN 80 DAYS, but it's the role of a hooker she's looking forward to the most.

She says, "I play a mistress in the fourth CROW movie, WICKED PRAYER. DENNIS HOPPER is my evil devil Satan pimp. I'm like his mistress and bodyguard - the mistress bodyguard from hell."
