LUTHER - LUTHER CAMPBELL TO RETIRE?

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

Veteran rapper LUTHER 'UNCLE LUKE' CAMPBELL has decided to turn his back on hip-hop because he feels undervalued by the music industry.

Campbell, who pushed forward the boundaries of taste with notorious rap group 2 LIVE CREW, is planning to launch an adult film and magazine company following the release of his audio book UNCLE LUKE: MY LIFE AND FREAKY TIMES.

He tells AllHipHop.com, "I am tired of being in an industry that doesn't appreciate me. I have done so much for hip-hop and 'til this day, I haven't received any awards or any recognition for it.

"If it wasn't for 2 Live Crew videos wouldn't look like they do and rappers wouldn't sound like they do. I am going into the adult market because they don't care what label you are signed to or who you know.

"My company is going to cater to the upscale urban market; it will (be) like Playboy, featuring our women and things we like to see."
