ETERNAL - LOUISE: I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

Former ETERNAL singer LOUISE REDKNAPP has blasted record bosses for mismanaging her solo career, and forcing her to release cover songs.

The sexy singer has failed to score nearly as much success as a solo singer as she did with the chart-topping girl-group - and she blames label record bosses who have never given her the chance to work on her own material.

The 28-year-old - who hasn't touched the charts since her cover of STUCK IN THE MIDDLE was released in 2001, says, "Stuck In The Middle was hard for me. It was a hit, but I just felt so frustrated doing a cover version.

"I was like: 'Can no one give me the time to the encouragement to make a record of my own?' I've been underestimated on the music front. I do know my music, I'm not stupid.

"I am grateful for the years I've had, but I feel I've let myself down with the music. When I got to my mid-20s, I needed to grow up musically. Only, I didn't."
