JENNIFER LOPEZ has signed up to produce a soap opera about one of her favourite hot-spots - South Beach, Miami.
Although Lopez doesn't plan to star in the series, which will air on American network UPN, she will serve as one of the executive producers of the show.
The New York native previously developed a sitcom based on her experiences of growing up in the Bronx.
