JENNIFER LOPEZ often envies heavy smokers and drinkers - because their habits help them get through stressful times.

The clean-living AIN'T IT FUNNY singer avoids the potentially damaging habits, preferring instead to look after her health.

But J.Lo admits there are times when she wouldn't mind being able to deal with her own problems with the simple act of consumption.

She says, "I don't drink - I'll have a sip, but I've never been drunk - and I don't smoke.

"I envy people who have those releases. They just have a drink or a cigarette, and they feel better. I have to brave it through the whole day on my own."
