DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - LONGORIA SPENT YEARS AUDITIONING

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star EVA LONGORIA has slammed stories her career took off after she was "spotted in STARBUCKS" as she has been spent years acting.

The sexy actress is "very grateful" for being cast in the GOLDEN GLOBE-winning TV show - but wants to clarify she is not an overnight success having spent the past seven years auditioning for roles.

Longoria says, "It's so funny, people think I was spotted in Starbucks and now I'm a star. But I've been acting for seven years so it's not like I haven't worked.

"But this is my first hugely successful show and I'm very grateful - I'm enjoying the ride.

"Whenever someone on set says they're tired, I'm like, 'Sock it up.' It's really fun."
