DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES - LONGORIA: 'PARKER ISN'T INTO 'HOS AND BLING'

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star EVA LONGORIA insists her boyfriend TONY PARKER is more sophisticated than other professional basketball players - who are only interested in "bling and 'hos". The actress believes her French beau and other members of his Texas team, the San Antonio Spurs, aren't into the flashy jewellery and groupies that come with the job, because they weren't born in America. She explains, "The Spurs are such straight arrows compared to the rest of the National Basketball Association (NBA). "Seven of the 13 Spurs are foreign, so they don't have that American thing of the bling and the cars and the MTV CRIBS and yes, the 'hos." Longoria believes that Parker has a different mind-set from most American males because of his European upbringing. She adds, "He's way more worldly than anyone I've met in the States."
