DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES star EVA LONGORIA finds dating hard as the media links her romantically to every male friend she meets up with.

The 29-year-old actress, who plays sex-crazed GABRIELLE SOLIS in the American TV show, believes the press is giving her a man-eating reputation like PARIS HILTON, because she enjoys the company of men.

Longoria, whose previous boyfriends include 'N SYNC singer JC CHASEZ and TV director STEPHEN KAY, brought basketball star TONY PARKER to the SCREEN ACTOR'S GUILD AWARDS earlier this month (05FEB05).

She says, "I love the idea of love and I'm a hopeless romantic, but dating has become really hard.

"I only have to have coffee with someone I meet and dinner another day with someone I know and then it's like I'm Paris Hilton.

"Actually, I'm a lesbian this week apparently, according to the NATIONAL ENQUIRER."
