LINDSAY LOHAN - LOHAN'S FATHER WANTS REALITY SHOW TO COVER DIVORCE

LATEST: LINDSAY LOHAN's father MICHAEL has unveiled more details behind his planned reality TV show - he wants cameras to follow him and his estranged wife DINA as they get divorced.

Michael, who has grabbed his fair share of headlines in recent months for his antics, recently proposed that his family join him in a reality show, but they've refused to participate.

And now the 44-year-old, who claims his string of troubles have helped his daughter's career, is revealing the details of the show he'd like fans to watch on a weekly basis.

He tells American TV show PRIMETIME LIVE, "(The show) would follow us through the course of our divorce. Everything would be put on hold to begin with while we're shooting this, in an effort to become a family.

"It's not about the money; it's about showing both sides of the coin."

Lohan insists he would "definitely consider" dropping his fight for a family reality show if his wife would drop her restraining order against him and let him speak directly to his famous daughter.

In December (04), he pleaded guilty to several charges, including assaulting a brother-in-law at his son's communion party, and was ordered into drug and alcohol treatment and therapy.

He also was arrested in June (04) for allegedly skipping out on a $3,800 (GBP2,000) bill for several suites at a hotel.
