LATEST: LINDSAY LOHAN's parents MICHAEL and DINA have decided to divorce after continuous wrangles.
Following Michael's sentence to seek treatment at an in-patient alcohol and substance abuse facility, Dina tells PEOPLE magazine that she's ready to call an official end to their union.
She says, "Michael has problems that he needs to deal with. He needs to take care of himself."
Michael was recently arrested on charges of violating an order of protection against his estranged wife.
