LIZA MINNELLI forgot the words to a song written specifically for her at a concert in New York on Monday night (03NOV03).
Liza - is being sued for $10 million (GBP6.25 million) by her estranged fourth husband DAVID GEST - was appearing at the tribute for JOHN KANDER and FRED EBB in the city's CARNEGIE HALL when the lyrics to LIZA WITH A Z slipped her mind.
An onlooker says, "She asked conductor SKITCH HENDERSON to start again, and she got it right."
