Heavy metal outfit LINKIN PARK remain on top of America's BILLBOARD album chart for a second week - despite a 67 per cent sales plunge.

The rockers, who managed to shift 810,000 copies of their album METEORA last week (ends04APR03), have sold just 265,000 this week (ends11APR03), but it's still been enough to keep them at number one.

Rap star 50 CENT's GET RICH OR DIE TRYIN' is in second place on the chart, followed by compilation album NOW 12, CELINE DION's ONE HEART and HOME by NORAH JONES.

WHITE STRIPES' ELEPHANT arrives at sixth place after selling 126,000 copies and THE VERY BEST OF CHER enters at number seven with 122,000 shifted.
