LIL' ROMEO HIT WITH LAWSUIT

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

LIL' ROMEO has been hit with a lawsuit by a man who claims to have written the majority of the songs on the teen rapper's GAMETIME album without pay.

SEAN CUNNINGHAM has also filed suit against Romeo's rap mogul father MASTER P, MUSIC LLC, ONE UP ENTERTAINMENT LLC, UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP RECORDINGS and BUENA VISTA HOME ENTERTAINMENT LLC.

Cunningham says he wrote six songs on the album, one of which appeared in the film MAX KEEBLE'S BIG MOVE as the title track, and has never received album credit, nor compensation. Cunningham alleges that Romeo also copied his rap style, reports news website EURWEB.COM.

The case goes to trial in Houston, Texas on 5 March (04).
