KIMBERLY JONES - LIL' KIM SUES FORMER FRIEND

Jailed rapper LIL' KIM is suing a former associate who gave evidence against her in court.

Lil' Kim - real name KIMBERLY JONES - claims JAMES 'LIL' CEASE' LLOYD is planning a DVD about rap group JUNIOR MAFIA, of which they were both members, which she hasn't authorised.

She alleges Lloyd made it known the DVD - THE CHRONICLES OF JUNIOR MAFIA PART II - would include interviews with him and other members of the group about their role in her trial.

She is seeking $6 million (GBP3.4 million) damages.

Kim is currently serving a one year sentence for lying to a grand jury to protect her friends following a shooting outside a New York radio station in 2001. She claimed she didn't see DAMION BUTLER and SUIF JACKSON at the scene of the shooting.

Junior Mafia members Lloyd and ANTOINE 'BANGER' SPAIN testified that they were with her at the time.
