JUNIOR MAFIA - LIL' CEASE ARRESTED

Former JUNIOR MAFIA member LIL' CEASE was arrested in New York City yesterday (13APR06) on an outstanding warrant, after the rapper missed a hearing to answer alleged probation violations. The hip-hop star - real name JAMES LLOYD - was pulled over by police for a routine check while driving in Brooklyn, but the officers soon discovered the artist was wanted for missing a court date on 8 February (06). The rapper was originally charged with attempted murder following a shooting outside of a New York shop in August 2001 and, after pleading guilty to a felony charge of criminal possession of a weapon in October 2002, was sentenced to five years probation. Lil' Cease is currently being held in New York City's Rikers Island prison, according to AllHipHop.com, and will have his fate decided at a court appearance tomorrow (17APR06).
