RUSH guitarist ALEX LIFESON is heading to court to face assault charges stemming from a fight with police in Florida on New Year's Day (01JAN) 2004.
Lifeson, whose real name is ALEX ZIVOJINOVICH (corr), is accused of pushing a deputy officer down a hotel stairwell and spitting blood on another officer in a scuffle at a Naples club.
Lifeson is scheduled to stand trial on 16 May (05).
