LATEST: Troubled singer PETE DOHERTY and drummer GARY POWELL of THE LIBERTINES have delighted fans by
uniting on stage at the launch of a photography exhibition in London, Britain.
Powell embraced Doherty and provided handclaps for DON'T BE SHY from the forthcoming album THE LIBERTINES
- at LIBERTINES: BOYS IN THE BAND art show in Camden's PROUD GALLERY on Friday (23JUL04).
The band have refused to play with the frontman until he curtails his drug use but supported his solo set, which included popular hits THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS and WHAT A WASTER.
The exhibition features the work of British magazine NME's photographer ROGER SARGENT and chronicles the last three years of the band – many of them are previously unpublished.
