LIAM GALLAGHER - LIAM DECLARES COLD WAR

Wild rocker LIAM GALLAGHER has launched a scathing attack on COLDPLAY frontman CHRIS MARTIN - slating his anti-war views and calling him a "kn**head student".

The outspoken OASIS star also attacked his celebrity girlfriend GWYNETH PALTROW, labelling her a "gawky bird".

His outburst happened backstage at a ROYAL ALBERT HALL, London charity gig for the TEENAGE CANCER TRUST on Wednesday (26MAR03) night - which featured a performance from Liam.

Coldplay rocked the legendary venue on Monday (24MAR03), as part of the week-long fundraising concerts.

Liam told onlookers, "When Coldplay did this gig they banged on about the war, that's wrong.

"Chris Martin shouldn't be using this cause to bang on about his own f****** views on the war. If him and his gawky bird want to go banging on about the war they can do it at their own gigs.

"That lot are just a bunch of kn**head students - Chris Martin looks like a f****** geography teacher. What's all that f****** s*** with writing messages about Free Trade (sic) on his hand when he's playing.

"These gigs are about kids who have got cancer, they've got to fight a war every day of their lives. That's what we're all here doing this for."
