LATEST: Guitar great LES PAUL, was released from a New Jersey hospital on Saturday (11FEB06) after recovering from pneumonia.

Paul, who won two Grammys last week (08FEB06), is now home resting and "feeling much better", a spokeswoman for his record company said yesterday (13FEB06).

The 90-year-old had been hospitalised for nearly a week with pneumonia, which forced him to miss last Wednesday's Grammy Awards ceremony.

The guitar legend was scheduled to perform in an all-star jam session with the likes of SLASH and JOE PERRY.

Although he couldn't attend in person, he was able to appear via satellite from his hospital bed and participate in the guitar tribute.
