LATEST: Officials in St Petersburg, Florida, have passed a new law they hope will scupper heavy rockers HELL ON EARTH's plans to stage a live suicide during their show on Saturday (04OCT03).

The rockers had teamed up with a local euthanasia group and planned to make the terminally ill man's suicide part of their upcoming show.

But a new city council law passed yesterday (29SEP03) has now rendered the act illegal, and the group and promoters will face jail time if they go ahead with the suicide.
