Movie director SPIKE LEE's wife TANYA has defended her husband's recent visit to a London strip club - because he "loves lesbians".
Tanya remains unperturbed by the DO THE RIGHT THING filmmaker's visit to lap dancing club SPEARMINT RHINO last week (ends02JUL04), because visual stimulation is something "most men do".
While chatting about Spike's latest movie SHE HATES ME in which some gay women set out to get pregnant, Tanya said, "He loves lesbians, as most men do."
To Spike's objection that, "He's going to print that", Tanya laughed, "That's OK. Let's be real here", reports the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS.
