DAVID LEE ROTH - LEE ROTH DROPS LAWSUIT

Rocker DAVID LEE ROTH has dropped his lawsuit against former bandmates VAN HALEN after claiming he was cheated out of almost $200,000 (GBP125,000) in unpaid royalties.

It remains a mystery why Lee Roth pulled the suit, but reports suggest it may have been settled out of court.

The outspoken star hasn't commented on the case, but he has offered advice to wannabe rock stars: "Most people aren't aware that if you don't audit your record company every three years, you lose the right to audit for three more years. And you don't get to go back.

"Your lawyer and your accountant will not tell you this, because they're all playing golf with the guys at the record company.

"My accountants went in and we discovered that I did have the right to audit, and we discovered the tip of an iceberg."
