HEATH LEDGER - LEDGER BLASTS ROMANCE ATTENTION

Hollywood hunk HEATH LEDGER has blasted the media for relentlessly scrutinising his romance with A-list star NAOMI WATTS, citing the constant attention as the worst aspect of his job.

The Australian NED KELLY actor is dumbfounded by the public's fascination with their relationship, and fails to comprehend why gossip fans are drawn to articles focusing on an alleged argument they had - because couples the world over fight occasionally.

He says, "People try to make it challenging for us by assuming and creating stories or just being interested in us, but love is love.

"If you're in love it's easy and it's hard in a good way. Our relationship is everything a healthy relationship should be."

Ledger adds that he loathes being in the limelight: "It's the worst part of the job. It's a surreal experience to be hounded or followed or recognised.

"But at least I'm not MICHAEL JACKSON."
