A stalker obsessed with AVRIL LAVIGNE has been charged with harassment - after bombarding the singer with letters and requests for meetings.
JAMES SPEEDY will face trial on 17 September (04) for harassing the COMPLICATED star with emails and for once showing up outside Lavigne's parents' home in Ontario, Canada.
The Seattle native was arrested back in April (04) following a free concert given by Lavigne in the American city - and later released on $5,000 (GBP2,700) bail.
Police confiscated a shotgun, an assault rifle and a pistol from his home.
