PARIS HILTON - LATSIS ASKED PARENTS FOR HILTON'S HAND IN MARRIAGE

PARIS HILTON's parents RICK and KATHY were delighted when their daughter's fiance PARIS LATSIS asked them for the socialite's hand in marriage.

The Greek shipping heir asked the millionaire couple's permission before getting down on one knee to propose THE SIMPLE LIFE reality TV star Paris last Wednesday (25MAY05).

Kathy tells US newspaper the NEW YORK DAILY NEWS, "He is a wonderful young man. We love him.

"If he didn't (ask our permission), I would be very angry. My husband would be furious."

The two Parises have been dating since December (04), after renewing an old friendship at Latsis' 27th birthday party.
