BRITNEY SPEARS - LACHAPPELLE'S BRITNEY PICS AT AUCTION

Photographs of iconic female stars, including BRITNEY SPEARS, DEBORAH HARRY, SARAH JESSICA PARKER and ANNA KOURNIKOVA will go under the hammer at London auction house Bonham's later today (21OCT05).

The pictures, shot by legendary photographer DAVID LaCHAPELLE, are expected to raise $288,000 (GBP160,000).

A spokesman for Bonham's says, "This is the first time that LaChapelle works of this scale have come to auction."

The American photographer was discovered by pop artist ANDY WARHOL and was recently ranked one of the top ten most important people of his profession.
