Metal band KORN have rubbished claims their song HYPOCRITES is a veiled attack on departed guitarist BRIAN 'HEAD' WELCH, claiming it's aimed at religious figures who do not practice what they preach.

Welch quit the DID MY TIME rockers earlier this year (FEB05) after becoming a born-again Christian and has since adopted 212 Indian children after founding an orphanage, called the Head Home, in Baligeria.

And frontman JONATHAN DAVIS insists he is glad his former bandmate has found happiness in his new beliefs, and is more concerned about people who promote Christian values while living a sleazy secret life.

He says, "It's definitely not about Head. It's about these holier-than-thou people judging everyone around them and they go cheating on their wives in strip clubs!

"I want nothing to do with organised Christianity. It's gone around the world and ripped apart people's cultures. If I were God, I would kill all those f**ks!"
