BEYONCE KNOWLES - KNOWLES: 'MEN NEED TO OPEN UP'

R+B star BEYONCE KNOWLES has urged men to drop their egos when women leave them broken hearted - because it will speed up their recovery.

The DESTINY'S CHILD beauty accepts many men are raised to shield their darkest thoughts from girlfriends, family and pals following a break-up, but vows their pain will quickly be alleviated if they learn to unleash their emotions.

She says, "Girls are stronger - we're just born that way. If someone breaks our heart, we shed some tears and move on.

"Guys keep so much bottled up that's it's much harder for them to get over stuff. They have big egos, so it's difficult for them to cry.

"Guys can be sensitive but they're taught to hide their feelings and keep secrets locked inside."
