BEYONCE KNOWLES - KNOWLES AND JAY-Z SHINE AT BET AWARDS

R+B superstar BEYONCE KNOWLES and her rapper beau JAY-Z dominated the BLACK ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION (BET) AWARDS in Los Angeles yesterday (29JUN04).

Knowles was named Best Female R+B Artist and Jay-Z won the award for Best Male Hip-Hop Artist, while the couple were also honoured with the Best Collaboration prize for their smash single CRAZY IN LOVE.

Elsewhere at the KODAK THEATRE bash, OUTKAST picked up Best Group and Best Video Of The Year for their HEY YA! promo, and USHER was named Best Male R+B Artist.

MISSY ELLIOTT won the award for Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, while Hollywood stars HALLE BERRY and DENZEL WASHINGTON were named Best Actress and Best Actor respectively.
