R+B singer BEVERLEY KNIGHT has joined forces with dance music pioneer RONI SIZE to release anti-gun song NO MORE, to combat the growth of gun crimes in Britain.
Both stars have been deeply affected by the recent spate of shootings in Britain, and want to do all they can to stop further incidents taking young lives needlessly.
The COME AS YOU ARE singer was horrified by the tragic shooting which left British teenagers CHARLENE ELLIS and LETISHA SHAKESPEARE dead in Birmingham, England, on New Year's Day 2004.
She says, "It haunted me to be honest, it haunted my sleep."
Size joined the anti-gun cause when two of his friends were shot last year (OCT04) in his hometown of Bristol, England. ASHA JAMA lost her sight in one eye while DONNA SMALL sustained severe head injuries.
The NEW FORMS musician says, "Over the last 10 years, I have seen a lot of things happen and it is nothing to be glamorised, it really isn't."
