Norwegian royal KING HARALD is to have his bladder removed on Monday (08DEC03) to stop the spread of cancer.

The 66-year-old is expected to make a full recovery. His son, CROWN PRINCE HAAKON (corr) will lead the monarchy while his father is recovering.
