VAL KILMER is looking for love again after admitting he hasn't had a proper girlfriend for two years.

THE DOORS star, who has been linked with ANGELINA JOLIE and DARYL HANNAH in recent months, insists he's totally single.

He says, "I always had a girlfriend 'til about two years ago. It's the first time... the longest I've ever been single."

But Kilmer has a lot to offer a prospective girlfriend - as well as fame and fortune, he's very romantic.

He once spent $30,000 (GBP16,600) to hire an entire Fijian island so he could woo a lover in privacy.
