KIEFER SUTHERLAND - KIEFER'S SHINY REMINDER OF HIS FIGHTING DAYS

KIEFER SUTHERLAND has a piece of broken glass embedded in his elbow as a constant reminder of why he stopped brawling in bars.

The 24 action man was once an angry young man who fought all the time, but he hasn't brawled for a decade after a couple of forgettable moments.

He explains, "I got in a fight with two army guys. They were kicking my a**, and there was broken glass on the ground where we were rolling around.

"A couple of years ago, I broke my wrist and I went to get an X-ray, and they saw something in my elbow. It was glass.

"I haven't been in a fight for 10 years. Fifty per cent of my fights I've lost. I've got 180 stitches in my head from fights where I've gotten my a** kicked."
