NICOLE KIDMAN - KIDMAN TELLS OF POST-CRUISE DEPRESSION

Hollywood star NICOLE KIDMAN spent months living in her pyjamas as she struggled to get over her marriage split from TOM CRUISE.

The Oscar-winning actress was devastated when her 10 year marriage to Cruise ended suddenly in February 2001.

Kidman recalls, "I didn't get out of my pyjamas for several months. I didn't want to do my hair. I was like, 'Who cares?'"

The Australian beauty also believed her decision to film MOULIN ROUGE! in Australia, which entailed several months away from Cruise, contributed to their break-up.

Kidman admits she has always had a strong yearning to be loved after a tough upbringing with her mother JANELLE.

She says, "The way she (my mother) pushed me to be independent did feel like rejection. She'd say, 'I'm never going to say I love you.'"
