NICOLE KIDMAN and new love KEITH URBAN were left red-faced after Australian comedian DAME EDNA EVERAGE made them the centre of attention at 'her' Las Vegas, Nevada, show.
The comic ruthlessly joked about the MOULIN ROUGE! star's acting skills, and jested gently about her new love with "rustic possum" country singer Urban.
Everage teased, "I was Nicole's first drama teacher. Her folks arrived at my door and begged me to do something with this gangly, flat-chested girl.
"I did my best with what I had to work with. And I adore that rustic possum Keith Urban. My son Kenny introduced me to line dancing and country music."
Kidman is expected to honour Everage at the Luxor Casino next week (begs26DEC05), presenting the star with a special gift to mark 50 years in showbiz.
