NICOLE KIDMAN - KIDMAN BEGS HER DAUGHTER TO BE MORE LADYLIKE

NICOLE KIDMAN is desperate to turn her 12-year-old daughter into a young lady even though the pre-teen has dreams of being a tomboy.

The actress admits she's disappointed her daughter ISABELLA is so against femininity and she's always encouraging her to dress like a proper girl.

Kidman says, "She won't go near a dress. She thinks I'm too girlie.

"The other day she went to a basketball game and I said, 'Bella, can you please put on something other than that stained, old sweatshirt?'

"I remember my own mother saying, 'Don't wear that, please.' It's just mothers and daughters, isn't it? You retaliate against your mother and then you become her."
