Film-maker NOAH BAUMBACH is set to cast Oscar-winner NICOLE KIDMAN, as well as his real-life wife JENNIFER JASON LEIGH, in the follow-up to his acclaimed film THE SQUID AND THE WHALE.
The actresses will play sisters in the untitled comedy-drama being distributed by Paramount Pictures.
The film is "another multi-generational story that takes place over a weekend and follows a mom and her son who visit the mom's sister," according to the Hollywood Reporter.
Baumbach has received much critical acclaim for The Squid And The Whale, including Independent Spirit Award nominations for directing, a Writers Guild Award nomination and three Golden Globe nominations.
Baumbach and Leigh were married last September (05).
