Rocker KID ROCK is celebrating today (12JAN05) after a long running trademark and copyright-infringement case against him was thrown out of court yesterday (11JAN05).

A judge in Michigan ruled the Detroit-based rocker, real name BOB RITCHIE, is the legal owner of the TOG DOG name after dismissing claims from Rock's former business associates to the contrary.

The court ruled ALVIN WILLIAMS and EARL BLUNT of EB-BRAN PRODUCTIONS INC waited too long to file the lawsuit.

Williams and Blunt had claimed their company was entitled to half of Rock's earnings, based on a 1989 contract it signed with him, allowing him to use their Tog Dog logo on his merchandise.
