ALICIA KEYS - KEYS SHOCKS APPLE WITH STORE BUYING PREFERENCES

ALICIA KEYS shocked APPLE bosses while promoting ITUNES last week (16JUN04) - when she admitted she prefers buying records to downloading music.

The FALLIN' star, 23, was paid to perform at the launch of the music downloading website in London - despite the fact she believes visiting a music store is far more fun than surfing the web for tracks.

Keys tells BBC RADIO 1, "For me I love being able to go to a record store and check it out.

"You know, and look for the CD that I want and the one that you really can't find.

"Or even going to that section of the store you never go to and saying, 'Let me just pick one that looks interesting and try it', or whatever.

"I definitely don't think this is an excuse to get stuck behind your computer and never leave your house ever again."

However Keys does see the benefit of downloading tunes from the web.

She adds, "If you do just wanna do something kinda quick, you know, it's also another option."
