CHRISSIE HYNDE - KERR CLOSE WITH EX-WIVES THANKS TO CHILDREN

Scottish rocker JIM KERR still loves his former wives CHRISSIE HYNDE and PATSY KENSIT and has vowed to always be there for them.

The SIMPLE MINDS singer is a regular visitor at Hynde and Kensit's homes and insists they will stand united in hours of need.

And he credits his children YASMIN and JAMES, born to Hynde and Kensit respectively, with cementing their permanent bond.

He says, "If either of those two women were in trouble, I would probably still be the first person they would call, and vice versa.

"When you have a child together there is always a bond.

"Things obviously become more complicated when your ex-wife has other marriages or relationships, but that bond is never broken."
