JOHNNY DEPP - KENNEDY CHALLENGES DEPP'S OSBOURNE PLANS

Hollywood actor JOHNNY DEPP is facing a challenge over his plans to play rocker OZZY OSBOURNE - from comedian JAMIE KENNEDY.

Depp is the former BLACK SABBATH frontman and wife SHARON's first choice to take on the coveted role, and the screen heart-throb has even started negotiations.

But Kennedy, the star of American TV show MALIBU'S MOST WANTED, now reveals he'd like a shot at landing the starring role.

He says, "I would love to (have) this part. I mean, this is like the year of the bios. I think Ozzy would be really great to play because you can only hear a word like every 20 sounds... How are you not gonna memorise that script?"

But Kennedy would like to take on more than one role in the anticipated movie.

He adds, "I also wanna play Sharon, because I just think that's a weird household. She's always like, 'Kelly, let's go watch Daddy make a poo!'"
