KELLY OSBOURNE - KELLY OSBOURNE'S OUTRAGE AT 'FAT GIRL' ROLE

KELLY OSBOURNE was initially outraged when she was offered the part of an overweight teenager in the MTV show LIFE AS WE KNOW IT.

In the programme Osbourne tries to start a relationship with another student played by actor CHRIS LOWELL, but it hits the rocks when his friends tease him about her size.

She says, "I was like, 'I am not fat! I don't want to play the fat girl!'

But Osbourne realised that she might be able to help make people feel better about themselves.

She adds, "If I did something like this, like for that little girl who lives in the midwest, who people make fun of because she doesn't have a flat stomach, I can make her feel good about who she is."
