AMERICAN IDOL - KELLY CLARKSON GIVES COPS AN EYEFUL

Sexy AMERICAN IDOL winner KELLY CLARKSON gave London police an eyeful when she ran into the street wearing only her underwear.

The MISS INDEPENDENT singer panicked when a fire alarm rang in London's luxury MANDARIN ORIENTAL HOTEL in the early hours of Wednesday (19NOV03) morning.

While other guests chose to ignore the false alarm, Kelly - who has lost a home to fire before - dashed out and ran into police responding to the emergency.

Kelly says, "I didn't even stop to think. I was only wearing a crop top and my panties.

"I'm terrified of fires because I've had three. When I moved in, I went out and I got a call - the place had burned down. I lost everything."
