AMERICAN IDOL - KELLY CLARKSON CULINARY MISERY IN BRITAIN

First AMERICAN IDOL victor KELLY CLARKSON went hungry during her recent trip to England - because she was so repulsed by the food.

The Texan MISS INDEPENDENT singer visited Britain with the hit TV show's judge SIMON COWELL to introduce herself to a new audience - but her stay was marred by the lack of tasty food on offer.

She says, "I'm really happy to be back in America. They have really bad food. I'm sorry. Like, I didn't eat the whole time. Because, like, all I ate was bread and even their bread tastes different."
